We were at 900m, we had gone down for 950m, we were tired and we needed abreak. Then we move again, reaching in few minutes "in la Piana", where we met a group of two menwith some guys. They were very friendly and kind, offering use wineand tea, giving usthe mushrooms they had found.. They told us that in the river there are very big trouts and they were going to fishing that evening. . so do we the next time..
after that we walked up and down again for half an hour and then we stopped next to ValGabbio river to have lunch and a rest, before the long climbing to 1720 m again. The water was so clean and cold, with a lot of trouts...
Finally we started the climb, which was really hard for the steep slope..the last part was the worste, almost vertical, but the view was so wonderfull and the raspberries we found so sweet and tasty..that we were supported in reaching the top.. It's a pity that air was not very clean at that time, because otherwise from the Colma di Premosello we could see a piece of world.
In the last climb we met acouple from Sesto Calende who stopped with us at the Colma, and we enjoyed dinner together..porcini, couscous and ratatouille, cheese, biscuits... I really felt very well and in good company.
The morning after, at 7 we left the shelter and we went downhill for 1500m..we met some chamoises..mother and calf...fortunately we avoided to walk the last 200m from Colloroto Premosello as an "alpino" gave us a rid.
Then from Premosello to Domodossola and to Malesco, again..
The ValVigezzo was really nice, with the old style villages and the beautiful, gray stone roofs..
For sure we will go there again, I hope some more days..
